A Philippine pride!!!
Before I continue with smart globe issues. Let's celebrate first the victory of Manny Pacquiao. He won a lopsided 12-round decision over Sugar Shane Mosley on Saturday night. Though he was not able to get the knockout he wanted, beating Mosley at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas is definitely a history. And of course, as a Filipino, It's my pride to give honor to him. He is to truly a Philippine pride. One of the best Filipinos out there.
There are several questions arise from my mind about our champion. And I need to have your side guys, about Manny Pacquiao's status today. He is a great Filipino boxer. And he is also a congressman in Sarangani. In your opinion, do Manny Pacquiao need to continue his boxing fights? Or focus more on his duties as a lawmaker?

hello!
ReplyDeletehi poh.......... gothic man talaga ang background.. nice xa, hehehehe
ReplyDeleteA Pleasant Day. Pacquiao Won Again..Dami na naman siya pera! blow out naman jan ! :D
ReplyDeletei think uhmmmmm,,,,,,,,, BOTH,, continue to his boxing fight until he retired, and also to serve as a congressman..
ReplyDelete,, well for me, maybe he should focus more on his duties as a lawmaker already. Kasi..., marami na talaga siyang panalo na talagang nagbigay karangalan sa bansa, kaya ngayon, maybe its time for him to serve already as a lawmaker.....
ReplyDelete..That's all......
-------------------------Shadi
it still depends on him pero i dont think na kelangan nya pang mag'boxing. in the first place he is a congressman so he need to do his work. kinakain na ng boxing ang time nya tulad ng 2 months practice nya for his fight but it still depends on him naman.
ReplyDeleteI think he should end his boxing career. He already brought great honor to our country. To focus as a congressman would be the best thing to do instead of winning more fights. But still, congratulations to him. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah! Panalo NANAMAN c Pacquiao!,
ReplyDelete- Uhm, ewan :)
Pacquiao has won again . . .
ReplyDeleteyet
napatumba nman xa once ni Mosely
watta shame XXDD ::
bt still, congratulations Pacman ! !
FOR ME....
ReplyDeleteI think, he's already stable financially and is TOO rich at present...!!He do not need to take another risk in boxing. He should also consider his health, for his family and for his self as well....:)
..............Yet, CONGRATS to him!
Manny Pacquiao is already one of the richest guy in the Philippines. As he started in boxing, he really earned a lot and I think that it's already enough. It's time for him to stop the boxing fights and face a another life career as a Congressman.I also think that all the money he had earned can already sustain his family's needs.
ReplyDeleteIt's still a big fear for Mommy Dionisia to let Manny continue his boxing career.
Also,Mommy Dionisia wishes on her birthday to let Manny stop boxing.
Manny Pacquiao is one of the Pride of the Philippines and he already made a history in boxing.
All Filipinos are proud of him but still Manny has the power to decide whether he will stop boxing or not..
But still I suggest that Manny should stop boxing already..
(:
pacquiao?? trending topic talaga itong boksingerong to ahh..
ReplyDeleteperhaps, pwede na niyang itigil ang pagkaboksingero because he had given so much HONOR in our country, KUNG, matatalo niya si mayweather..
IT WILL BE A GREAT FIGHT!!
mas maganda cguro magfocus na lang cya sa boxing career nya....
ReplyDeletekac mas magaling cya doon kaysa sa pagiging congressman.... but i'm not discriminating him ha... opinion ko lang man to... heheheeh
Hi bro... Considering his age, I think that it would be better if he would retire from boxing while he is still at his prime, instead of being like Holyfield who retired when he was not that famous anymore.
ReplyDeleteAnd about his political aspirations, I think that it would serve him more(and the people as well) if he would just become a philanthropist, he can influence politicians if wants changes in the government anyway...

ReplyDeleteFor me, it's better if he focuses on his job as a Congressman and also by helping the people, especially the poverty-stricken ones. Besides he has already won several titles in boxing and he is already very rich.
ReplyDeletePara sakin, both! :))
ReplyDeleteKasi parang nababalanced naman niya yung boxing at the same time bilang congressman ng Saranggani.
^____^
It depends on him kung ano ang pipiliin niya. :)
Yet, congrats Manny! We are so proud of you! XDD
Kuya you said, you will continue with smart globe issues :))
ReplyDeleteIt's better and healthier if he focuses more on his duties being a lawmaker. At the same time, he can lend his hand to the people that need his help. Anyway, congrats Manny. Another history was made! :)
ReplyDeleteIf he can still do both boxing and politics.. Go! Its up to his last decision what he will do.. :)
ReplyDeleteif he can handle it both why not continue it...siguro nman ang perang napapalanunan niya sa pagboboxing pwedeng pangdagdag pondo sa saranggani...but still it depends on him :)
ReplyDeleteCOMMENT,yan nah xDDD la masabi e.didn't watch the fight.
ReplyDeleteIf he wants to become super famous then why not? but i like Manny's style. He is still a humble person and every time he enters the ring. He dedicates his fight to his countrymen and for the Philippines. :) Keep it up
ReplyDeletetake note may nagkacramps pa si pacman sa fight na yun kaya bumagal...OVERTRAINED kasi...sabi nga ni Alex Ariza the problem with Manny is how to make him stop training... a true exemplar of a Filipino, masipag at pasaway hahaha...^_^V
ReplyDeleteHe should focus more on his duties as a lawmaker. He already proved to the world that he is a hero when it comes to boxing. He is already a Filipino pride. It is about time that he should prove to us Filipinos that he is not only a great boxer but also a great lawmaker.:))
ReplyDeleteIt's up to him kung anong kaya niya.. :)
ReplyDeletehi kuya glenn.
ReplyDeleteimba talaga c manny. everyone knows it :)
whos next? mayweather sana..
For me kuya, Manny Pacquiao's achievements and success are enough to say that we Filipinos can also make history. When you always engage in boxing, your body will eventually become weaker and weaker because you are always bombarded with punches all over. It may result to serious complications that he should now avoid. By bringing honor to the entire nation, he really deserves all the credit. But what we need now more than fame and glory is to actually develop and improve our way in the society today. That is where Manny should focus. If he really wants to help other Filipinos, then he should be more aware on what the people really needs.
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess that FLOYD MAYWEATHER is next.. But, taking into consideration Manny Pacquiao's skill, I guess that he can singlehandedly beat Mayweather Jr.
ReplyDeleteI think, mas kailangan niya magfocus sa mga duties niya as a lawmaker. XDD Malayo na yung naabot niya sa boxing. He should be contented na with what he has achieved. Dapat i-let go niya na ang boxing career niya kasi mas kailangan niyang pagtuunan ng pansin yung mga political issues na nangyayari.
ReplyDelete...Pacquiao might treat give us a party if he read your comments guys...hahahaha...:))...
ReplyDeletegrabe talaga si pacquiao
ReplyDeleteSayang di pwede mag-tag gaya ng sa facebook.
ReplyDeleteRofel! nah bro (nlng), when my siblings and i were watching the show grabe reaction namin when Pacquiao was introduced as a congressman of the Phil. tsk. and we all just look at each other and felt ashamed..
biased lng siguro kame sa pagkacongressman nya, kc i do not think he is in line with the other lawmakers in terms of the ability to analyze political strategies (pero magaling xa sa boxing strategies) and communication (eng).
|but maybe he is learning..
I'de rather he focus on his boxing career (since we focus more on the entertainment given by his fights than at him and him being considered a hero..)
pero looking at his mother's side it would be better for him to stop rn.
so wat's left is his money and his businesses, business man nlng xa. but just like what others say, bata pa naman xa kaya pa. (i just hope his career leads to becoming what became of Ali(brain damage/parkinsons??))
HE IS A GREAT FILIPINO BOXER-true. no argue.
@Frances
ReplyDelete...just tag yourself here!!!...
...make the impossible possible!!!
...hahahaha...:p...:))...
For me, i guess.. Just one more fight. Admit it, his fight with Mosley was sooo boring. We had high expectations. Expectations like uhh, sort of an action? I mean, more *boxboxbox. Hahaha :))I wanna see him fight with Mayweather, Jr.(?) If he wins, then I could say that i adore him for being a good good boxer and being a good sport. But for now, i just dont feel like giving him honor. Yeah, he's one of our countrys pride but... I dont know. I just dont feel him. And his singing career, oh my gosh. He feels like he's a great singer. Dang.. :)) Can somebody tell him to stop? :DDD
ReplyDelete@Inna Banana
ReplyDelete...and if he wins? another fight again???
...my apology with 8 comments that has been deleted...the blogger site was down yesterday...for updates definitely...
ReplyDeleteManny Pacquiao trully a great fighter already and he really brought great pride for the Philippines...but i think its time for him to look and focus on the other side of his life in being a lawmaker...it is time for him to focus on his duty and beside he is now considered as an unbeatable boxer in the world and i think its time for him to rest in this field..and if ever he will leave boxing already for sure people will never forget him...he is a legend in this century i think?:)
ReplyDelete@eleine
ReplyDelete...yes...yes!!!...he's definitely a legend...
@eleine
ReplyDelete...yes...yes!!!...he's definitely a legend...
To focus more on his duties as a lawmaker is better, well, his rich enough and he brought up Philippines' name in boxing for many times now. Since he chose to enter politics, why not focus on it more, because I believe he has a great power and influence to people that may help, and give his throne to other boxers in line.:)
ReplyDelete@Sheena Mae Alcala
ReplyDelete...you definitely have a point...sana nga!!!
